​We create handbound books that transform functional objects into unique works of art. Every piece is bound by hand, using antique vellum, book cloth, leather, hand-marbled and decorative Chiyogami papers ~ some printed in-house from my original linocuts and woodcuts.  As a member of Heritage Crafts, I also run hands-on workshops, sharing the art of print and bookbinding with artists, collectors, and anyone drawn to the beauty of the printed mark.

I’m Wen, printmaker & founder of PrintUrchin Press & Bindery, where no two books are ever the same and shortcuts don’t exist. I hand-cut, sew, and bind our books using traditional techniques - they are built to survive years of ink splatters, travel, and creative chaos - just like their owner, and to be handed down long after the last page is filled.​​
